The 6th edition of the AMVCA awards 2018 was an exciting one, held at Eko hotel and Suites on the 1st of September, 2018. The award show hosted the likes of many dignitaries amongst the like of Senator Dino Melaye, the performances of various Nigerian artistes cannot go unmentioned.
Graceing the crowd with his songs was Adekunle gold and the evergreen magical voice of Cobahms Asuquo , not leaving out the performance of this is Nigeria crooner Falz the bad guy and his fired up dancers, who danced to soft work and la fete by falz as he performed and also not neglecting the wonderful vocal performance by Bisola of Big Brother Naija to remember the legacies of the ones gone whom have left indelible marks in the hearts of film lovers in Africa.
Now speaking of the awards received, it was quite an emotional rollercoaster for the audience as awards received this time around were collected by mostly first timers (individuals who had never been nominated for an AMVCA award or had never won before). I think thats what made the whole event a Bomb.
